Ok boys i can say i am in SDA heaven now. Man what difference from the SDA 2B's to the new SDA1c's :) Many thanks to Flason to peeping them at a local pawn shop and to Faster getting the price down some and lugging these beasts back to the cave. Here are some pics. I just have a ? or two. Whats rating on these puppies???
BTW even came with the Pin Blade Sda cable. Sweet!!!!

just one more thing to add. The Carver M 1.0 Drives them pretty nice but was looking at adding another and doing a moni bridge on them....what you think. Cliff ells me i just cant run them with the SDA cable????

I have the SDA-1's and just picked up a crown psa-2 amp last week... I highly reccommend it... I thought they sounded great before but I had no idea what they were capable of with 450 watts each...

You just have to build the AI-1 interconnect as reeltrouble just did. Good thread over in electronics. With it in place then you can run bridged Carvers. Here's the link:

Until then try the Carvers in a vertical bi-amp arrangement. You just might decide building an AI-1 is not all that high on the priority list...
Nice looking speakers.. I really like the look of the 1C's...
And of course your son is terminally cute... He needs a Polk tee-shirt for Christmas...
