New (for me)set of speakers

Hello,

I have just purchased a set of 5 speakers and a PSW 250 subwoofer. They all came from E-bay and I do not have a set of manuals for them. I assume the small shielded ones are the front ones and the larger ones with the rear mounts are the surrounds. the speakers are as follows
2-RMSS RM Series 2 Shielded satellites
2-M2
1-RMCC RM Series II Shielded center Channel
1-PSW 250 subwoofer

Would someone be able to e-mail me a PDF of the manual for these or some simple instructions on how to set these up? I have never used a subwoofer before and am currently using A/D/S M 16 towers now with the TV speaker for the center and Solid 4" speakers for surround

Welcome to the forum!

Take a look at Polk's manual page. (http://www.polkaudio.com/home/library/manuals.php?category=7&speaker=323) If you scroll down to the PSW-250 and take a look at that manual. The fourth page has a diagram showing the wiring you should use. It includes sending the Speaker Level signal from the front channel ouptuts of the receiver to the subwoofer. The sub will use it's own internal crossover to determine what signal goes where, and the front channels are wired into the Speaker Level output of the sub. This way you'll get a better blend between the front speakers and the subwoofer, and it is known as "The Polk Way" to wire a sub. The manual should explain it fairly clearly. If you have any other questions, this is the place to ask them!

Thanks! I do what I can to help from the knowlege I have on speaker setups. It's too bad I don't have the funds to put all that knowledge to use!:)
