My sealed enclosure is .75 cubic feet and the momo 12" is .88 cubic feet. How much poly fill do I add? Is that more than the recomended amount to add? Happy Thanksgiving all!:D

I'm curious what poly fill does I know it tricks the subwoofer somehow. Can anyone tell me how it tricks it or what the result is?

yeah, well...I try

polyfill works by slowing down the air waves in a box down which makes it think the box is in fact, bigger
it also helps to reduce resonance which will improve your sound quality as well

Just pack it loosely, dont jam it in there, just fill up the entire enclosure, loosely with Polyfill.

Polyfill is pretty expensive though, you can get dacron ALOT cheaper. (Local fabric store)...

Stuffing type or Roll of it that is used for making quilts which would be easier to control how its put in a box.
Oh and if its loosly put in the box with the stuffing there is no way I can get 12oz of fill in there. CRAP! Gonna use that matted stuff I guess. Kind of hard to judge how much though.
