PM me if you are interested.
Thanks for reading

Note: Don't be frightened by the low post count. I've just been one hell of a busy guy & now I have some free time to hang around in this forum. :)

Low post count isn't nearly as scary as the prices your asking for. I don't think your going to get alot of interest. No offense intended.

are they brand new??? Not "They look and sound brand new" kind of new, I mean still in the wrapping kind of brand new. If not, you honestly need to reevaluate your pricing. You can find them for about half that anymore...

Just as an FYI - here is the only pair I could find on E-bay (Completed Auction) (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=71571&item=5733216540&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW) Looks like about $625 for a pair described as one owner and looking and sounding great. It may have been just a steal, but $1900 does seem a high by comparison.
No big deal either way, just wanted you to be aware of why others think they may be overpriced....
BTW - If you are new to the forum, welcome aboard.

Man....I didn't realize that audio gear could actually appreciate in value. Even though Polk listed MSRP on the CS400i as $479....Everyone (even Crutchfield and CC) sold them new from day one for $400. Screw the 401K... I'm buyin' more gear!
If you want these prices I would suggest e-bay. The same gear (in good to pristine shape) has traded hands on this forum for half of what you are asking.

Well, PT Barnum did say one was born every minute. Worm your not likely to find your sucker here.
Do you have the receipts from when you bought these speakers?
Who sold them to you?

I got them from The Good Guys and Circuit City.
And yes, I have receipts.

Really? Interesting, which ones did you get at Circuit City? Exactly when did you buy them? What have you used as your gear to drive these speakers?
OK, so now you want us to make offers. The flea market does not work this way. We do not "bid" against each other. At least in your first post you put some prices in, they were to high so we let you know. Its just the way it is here, we watch out for others.

The Center and the Subs are from Circuit City & the floor standing speakers are from The Good Guys.
You can decide on the prices and you make it seem like I'm just here to scam people.

It would be pretty hard to scam anyone on this board with those prices. All here know there Polk stuff some to greater extent than others, those prices where way high.
Ebay may be your best bet. Most members here try to pass on deals to each other, not rip each other off.
I wouldn't expect many offers at those origional prices.
No one here is flaming you just trying to educate in the ways of the flea market.

You're better off in Ebay.

Fact is Circuit City did not sell the CS 400i center for 479.00 or the PSW 450 sub for 500.00, so you say you are not are scamming but you ask for prices on used gear higher than what the dealer sold it for? Yeah OK, btw who ever brought up or mentioned scamming? Why it was you wasn't it.

Mr. W0rm,
Ebay is going to be your best bet if you are looking to reach a certain price point for your speakers...
good luck
and yeah 4 posts in 3 yrs.. you need to hang out in here more. ;)
Worm,
Your prices are at, and in some cases, above retail. This is why you are running into the "sworm". If you want to sell to this group, you would have to consider cutting your asking price nearly in half.
Looking at your post count and how you are responding to this thread indicates that you arent too familiar with how this area works. The Flea Market is more-less here to provide members with good deals that are typically a bit below what you can find on audiogon or ebay.
If you want to maximize what you get for these things, ebay will be the place for you.
If these speakers mean so much to you that you dont want to let them go for much less, then perhaps it would be best to just keep them. I have gone through tons and tons of equipment, and the only gear I really miss are the 2000's.
Best of luck !

You'll simply get better return on your investment, good luck. I don't think any of it was meant to be mean spirited, the gang is just letting you know that they won't sell here at those prices.

Doro's right. Nothing evil here. I would think one would prefer to know what the chances of selling something are rather than waiting and wondering why they haven't sold.
Hey it's your stuff and you can sell it wherever for whatever price you can get. Just remember....this bunch (including me) is cheap! :D

New members are cool, but in most forums it's generally considered bad form to re-open old threads.
