Mmmkay.

What amp do you have (or source for that matter), that can reproduce it?

Cheers,
Russ

My test equipment only goes down to 10Hz, so thats all I can confirm on my system.

Edit: My source is a Denon2200, and I have twin SVS PB10's.
Test equipment is Behringer ECM8000, Behringer802, TrueRTA L4 and a laptop.

I did not create the above graph, it is from Home Theater Forum.

That waterfall is simply a digital stream from the LFE channel. MingL probably created it with freeware.

There are a few subs capable of playing down into the 10-15 Hz region, but this list is very short.

The majority of that passage is centered at 25 Hz (the pink blobs), with plenty of still strong (but lower amplitude) stuff at 18-22 Hz. A tough test for any sub, no doubt.

Sounds like you are digging your new-found deep extension capabilities, polkthug. Hearing things you never knew existed, eh?

Doc, can you list some of the 10-15hz capable subs? Just curious to know!

:)

Velo DD-18, Velo 1812, SVS 16-46 PCi, PC+, Sound Physics Servo-Drive. Any properly designed Infinite Baffle. Any properly designed vented DIY sono-sub with an EBS alignment. I'm sure there are others - this is just off the top of my head.

BTW, that's a kick ass sequence. Had some folks over for Christmas and happened to have the DVD from Ballbuster. So I flipped over to this sequence. A great workout for the HT system. All those poor souls watching the demo still listen to tv with the tv speakers.
