Might have been brought up before, but these speakers look strangely like another that many of us are familiar with...

Eh, a bit, but then most speakers look a little like someone else's speakers. I mean there is only so much you can do to dress up a rectangular cabinet. They look to have made enough changes to avoid the lawsuit.
The line itself looks like a cross between Sonus Faber and the LSi's

Interesting they can be bi amped and are 4 ohms.

As are how many other speakers in the world? Once you get out of BB, virtually all speakers are Bi-amp able, and maybe 25-30% are 4 Ohm. No big conspiricy.
