Ok, now that I've read, and have seen, lots of posts on "tubes" I'm starting to wonder if I should dwelve into this topic. Tube this, tube that, it all has me wondering....

Anyways, does anyone have any experience with the Jolida Hybrid amps? I really like the looks of the standard tube amps they have but was wondering what difference in sound there was with the hybrids. Kind of a neat idea actually, at least, in my opinion.

Oh boy, I sure hope this isn't the start of anything... But...:p

I haven't heard one, but the JD-1501 with 100 wpc has received lots of great consumer reviews. They come up on audiogon often and are very affordable. I almost bought one a couple of weeks ago, but opted for a Jolida integrated tube amp instead.

The only tubed integrated I have had personal hands-on experience with is the Jolida 301. It was a very solid, well thought out integrated amp that sounded brilliant for the price ($300). This piece did a few things some much more expensive solid state gear I've owned could do.

With the 301, the only requirements would be space with decent ventilation (dont worry, its small and runs relatively cool) - and efficient speakers (88-89 db and up).
