Can anyone recommend a good component HDTV video switch?

Yes,
Key Digital. We carry a full line of there products and my personal opnion of them is stellar.

They have IR controlable component video switchers so you don't have to get up to make the switch. If you own a universal learning remote such as a Pronto or Mx700 series, you can lean these features in and macro string it.
