Anybody have any experience with these? Do they get you more into the movie, or are they more of a gimmick that seems cool at first, but then becomes fatiguing?

Thanks,
PT

LIMITED time with 4 bass shakers, limited because as you said/asked, seemed cool at first but kind of got annoying. The ladies loved it, lol.

the buttkickers are a better quality and may be better.

Mine were installed on the couch frame, I bet if they where installed to a platform or floor joist it would be better.

Madmax had some of the Clark system units and loved them.

Thanks for the reply, that's kind of what I thought. My friend is thinking of getting the Aura bass shankers, but he hasn't got to try them out anywhere.

I bought 4. Currently they sit all wrapped up ready to get shipped back. Never did install them as my base is so good now I didn't really see a need for them let alone the added cost of another amp.

I bought them on a whim due to a good sale price but just don't see the need and the fear they may be more distracting then not.

I just purchased 4 aura bass shaker pros and a 250 watt plate amp from parts express. Mounted them to my couches and added some 1x4 support and they are decient. I only use them on movies and i think they are pretty cool. originally i had a psw 350 and they assisted it but when i purchased my svs pci 20-39 they aren't as noticible but for 250 bucks its cool to see the reactions on peoples face when they feel them.
