Apparently MGM sold DVDs as widescreen when really they were nothing but P&S with black bars placed to make them look WS. I bet quite a few of us have some MGM WS DVDs.

but you have to return the dvd for a new dvd (which won't be the same dvd's done properly) or $7.10. Considering I own 2-3 dvd's from that pathetic list of movies, I'll be ok with them as is.
