ADVICE PLEASE: Anyone know the Old Rotel RC-960?

Somone offered me a mint one for 100 bucks what do you guys think? This preamp has no remote (never did its that old I suppose), but I'm guessing that iy sounds pretty good.

Anyone have any ideas on a reasonable price for this preamp?

EDIT: I'm planning on just making a bedroom 2.1 setup through a Carver AV-505 I bought here :D

I got an rc 971 for $150 shipped... I havent been able to use it because I didn't get an amp yet but the headphone out sounds great :) haahaa
