I'm currious to see what people read.
Using this forum, we read and write posts, but I know you read more than just this.
Many of us like movies, but my imagination can come up with a lot more than can be put on screen in two or three hours.
I've been trying to get this across to many of my students, so even though I am a science teacher, I have been having my classes read library books during class on Fridays.

What else do you read? (audio & non audio)
What kind of books do you read? (audio & non-audio)
What magazines do you read? (audio & non-audio
Who is your favorite author? (audio & non-audio)

I read a variety of books and magazines.
I like reading fictional stories. So far, I haven't gotten into biographies or the such.
Recently, I've been reading a book by Clive Cussler. Except for the newest couple of books, I've read all of his fictional stories.

I subscribe to Sound & Vision and Stereophile. I've enjoyed S&V for several years. Sure there may be biases, but for the most part that is one way I've educated myself with electronics. Used to read Car Stereo review, so naturally I just kept reading some of the same reviewers in S&V.
So far I haven't gotten too much into Stereophile. I read it, but I don't think I'm at the same level(good or bad).

I don't want arguments or bashing, I'm just interested to see other aspects of people's lives to relate to my own.

I probably should have specified, "besides porn." I knew it would make in the list, but I didn't think it would make it this soon. Anyway, I can't let students read porn on Fridays.

Good ole Readers Digest in the can. Otherwise I like to read John Grisham, Tom Clancy, W.E.B. Griffin and various other books that catch my attention.

Oh, and junk mail.......... you can get all kinds of stuff through the mail.

My other hobbies are motorcycles and guns, so I read quite a few Motorcycle rags and gun rags for reviews, new products, etc. I like reading about factual events, don't like fantasy or romance--but I DO like mystery and horror novels (Stephen King, Dean Koontz).

I HATE reading. I can't read a single page of anything without my mind wondering off. Reading about stereo equipment is about all that keeps my attention and even with that, I struggle.

If I do read it's:

Maxim or This Old House Magazine

I dont read many novels but my favourite authors are Tolkien and Grisham. I just finished the Silmarillion, very good book. I mostly read science, physics and speaker design books. Good for helping you get to sleep at night ;).

I pick up the occasional hi fi mag but I usually just read AudioXpress, a DIY mag. My friend Jon Mark Hancock who is doing a crossover design with and for me was published in that mag.
