Can anyone tell me what I would gain by adding a second SVS PB12-Plus/2, colocated, stacked on top of one another. Oh yeah, and corner loaded in roughly a 2500 cu.ft. room. Thinking of adding a second one.

Or better yet, what if I sold my Plus and just bought a single Ultra, what exactly would I notice, if anything?

not worth it in IMO, are you saying its not enough? The ultra will be a bit better in quality and has great drivers but i don't think its a worthy upgrade from a plus, and stacked is just insane and for a few db's output..

It sounds as though you're looking to just spend money. I would invest money elsewhere in the rig before I'd buy another SVS.

Thats what I thought. Doro, just so you know, Wednesday I placed a very large order, roughly, $1100 with Frank from signal cables to have all my Monster cable switched out with SC. That price included 5% discount and free ground shipping.

Wow. I guess I just keep Radioshack and MCM in business lol. I would have probably spent $250 on the whole list myself. I am definatley a fan of inexpensive cables. Generally, I just find the same cables, without the name brand. Like my 500' spool of CL2 16 AWG in wall speaker cable I just picked up for $34. That was nice. Could have gotten 14 AWG but that wasn't needed since I am only running 8ohms over less than 50 ft.

You are a better man than me, forking out that kind of cash on cables. I'm not saying it isn't worth it. I'm just saying I would never spend it. Deminishing returns just weighs too heavy on my wallet.

And what is your address, Rob? Remember to leave a window open alittle when you burn in those cables to allow the fumes to escape.................;) ;)

and so I don't have to hurt myself breaking down a door!

Nice collection your gonna have!!:D

Grimster74 = Rob.

The money is very well spent IMO. Signal Cable is a much better alternative to a $34 spool, but it's all in what makes you happy in the end.

I was just using the spool as an example. I am not saying buy a spool of cable and make all of your interconnects with it. I just knew someone was going to take that post out of context.

I think his purchases are wonderful. I have no bones about anyone spending any amount of their own money on anything they want. I am simply making a comparison of his luxury cables to my generic brands.

I didn't take it out of context, it's as valid as your statement. It's also not a luxury cable per se, as its a Belden, DIY based interconnect.

I should be receiving them soon. The only thing is I may not get around to hooking them up until after the new room is completed. I'm really not worried about the 30 day return policy after reading all the reviews I've read.
