Hello everyone,

I purchased a CSi3, a pair of RTi4's, and R15's about a year ago and now I'm looking to upgrade to a pair of RTi10's as mains. BUT as you all know, Circuit City doesn't carry them anymore and that's where I originally bought them. HHGregg used to carry them too. So besides Crutchfield, where else do you suggest I look? I think Crutchfields prices are a bit steep? Correct me if I'm wrong. I live in Dayton Ohio and as far as I know, there isn't a Tweeter around here for about 20,000 miles so I'm screwed in that regard also. I've read all the forums about all the great deals that were had when CC discontinued them. Just wondering if anyone still sells them and if so, any "deals" out there? Also, has anyone seen this website, ayselectronics.com because they sell them there at supposedly good prices but do you think this place is kind of fishy? Alot of their stuff looks a bit out of date. Like some of the Denon and Onkyo receivers.

Thanks in advance.

Johnny,It might be worth your time to call all the CC's in your area, depending on how far you want to drive...

I found one RTi12 at one store, and located a second one at a different store...

They had'nt sold because neither store had a "pair"

I'm wondering if any CC's still had any older RTi's left? I think I'll call around today...

I think the last of the RTI series are all gone at the Dallas Circuit City stores. I found a pair of RTI- 6's that had some serious dings a couple of months ago. I got 2 RTI-10's and two RTI-4's back in August of 04'. Same deal. Half off. They were out on the floor. Seems customers can't pull of the grills without breaking a post. They are easy to fix, though. Tweeter and Fry's still carry them.

If you can't find the 10's in a Circuit City, you will be forced to buy at the standard retail price, except for Ebay, on which I've seen some new Rti's from time to time.
Crutchfield sells at the same price anywhere else does.
You could always just order them from the Polk website itself, now that they sell directly on the site. If you're forced to buy full price, nowhere better to buy them than from the source.

JR,

Welcome to the Club..

Did you try the dealer locator?
http://www.polkaudio.com/home/toolbox/dealerlocator/us.php

Did a 100 mile scan around zip 45390 and HH Gregg looks to be big in your area. Seems they only have the Monitor series ala CC. There are also a couple independant audio stores who may carry the RTi line...

Johnny,

Sorry I didn't notice you were in Dayton before. But look to see if ABC Warehouse is in your area. I live in Toledo and they stock and order RTi line. They do offer discounted prices too.

What about in Northern California OR Los Angeles?

My local Tweeter carries the RTi line and the LSi. You might try there if there is one near you. I don't know if they offer them online or not. Like one of the previous post said, you can get them from ebay. There is a dealer there that sells new polk speakers regularly cheaper than you could buy them retail.

Hey, I'm new to the scene but I work at Fry's Electronics in the audio department, and I know that we carry almost the whole line of Polk's home theater speakers. We do carry the RTi line, and the RTi10's are NICE!. I would check with our ompany, but the only thing is that the closest one right now is another location that is opening up in Fischer Indiana. That's about all I can telly ou for now.

I sure am glad to see someone from a B&M educating themselves. Bravo Frys!

Frys has the whole line of Polks and great to sit down and listen to every set. I just got the RTi10' and they are awesome. Tweeters also has the Polk line. You can buy on line at Polk however they direct you to Crutchfields. They are offering a free set of speakers or $150 gift card if you spend over a certain amount with free shipping if your not happy.

If you spend $499 or more on any polk audio product, you get a free pair of Atrium 45 indoor/outdoor speakers. Thisi s a coupon anywhere you can buy polk products. I would still, due to my job, recommend getting the product from us, but I will not advertise here. This forum is for myself. Take it easy fellas.

Check Polk's eBay store - "Polk Direct". They have RTi A7s and even a couple pairs of RTi 12s at really low prices.
