I would like to ask all of you who care about your family, to please take some time and effort to visit them in the near future.

Today, I lost my grandmother on my mom's side. She was 90 years old and was blessed with a full life. She lived a little over two years longer than her only daughter, my mom, who was only in her 40's when she was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer. Luckily, my grandmother died of age, and she was ready to go.

So please, think about getting together with your family and don't take any of it for granted.

Noah,

My condolances on your loss...

Solace is available in the knowledge that she lived a full life surrounded by family that clearly loved her.

Spoke to Mom, the last of my family elders, earlier today. Thinking I just might give her another call....

Man, I'm sorry to hear about that. I hope you all are doing ok. Most of my family lives in North and South Carolina, and it's hard to get out to see them all the time.
