I bought some Sand today... Sand is really cheap, like 3 bucks for a 50 pound bag, I barely used any of it...

Stands are nice and inert now... cant wait to get the B&Ws now *cough* russ *cough* ;)

Do yourself a favor. Loose the sand. Go to a gunshop and buy a bag of lead shot. 25lbs for $20. It'll sound better, and make your speaker stands more stable(due to the greater weight).
