Concert at home

Yesterday I felt like checking to see how far my system could go. I put in Arch Enemy and Cradle of Filth, turned the PSW 650 volume to max, and slowly increased the volume control on the pre to the 12 o' clock position. Of course, I had ear plugs. I was hitting metal concerts spl! Every hit on the bass drum hit me on the chest and shook my whole body. It was unbelievable. I had no idea my system could go that loud.

Anybody ever try this when nobody's home?
