What size & power sub would be compatible with this system in a small room? I'm looking for a full spectrum of sound, considering that space limitations dictated bookshelf mains, more than killer bass....mostly jazz & blues music.
HK 630 receiver
RTi6 Mains
CSi3 Center
FXi3 Surrounds
Currently using a cheap generic 8" 100W sub
Thanks

I'll put in a second vote for the PB 10 ISD from SVS. Really a great sub for the money ($480 shipped). I think it produces killer bass, and a nice "full spectrum" addition to music. Classical and jazz have never sounded better on my system. If you really want to feel the string bass, you can't go wrong with this sub. Granted, I haven't experienced the higher end SVS models, but judging from the reviews and the volume of sales this unit has gotten, I know I'm not the only one to appreciate the PB10. Again, for the price, I can't see what else could come close to this guy's performance. And if you think the bass is a bit much for music, you could always turn the gain knob down a bit. But really, why would one do such a thing?
