PS2 memory card

My ps2 memory card keeps corrupting my saved files. First I lost a grand turismo 3 file, and then a socom 2 file. One minute they work and the next they don't anymore....wtf is goin on? its not one of the cheap memory cards, its a PS2 magicgate one or whatever.

What ever became of this? Maybe its the slot. Have you had similar problems if its in the other slot?

You could always just get a cheap-o memory card to make a backup of the first.

I would go balistic if I lost my time intensive GT3 file.

well nothing became of it, i said fook it and just started over, now im farther then i was in both games so i guess all is well until it happens again. i think it might have been the cheapo multi tap my sister got. its a piece of shit that doesnt even work now. it was meant to work on both ps1 and ps2 so i dunno. computers piss me off.
