I have a box that is about .70 cubic feet in volume. WinISD shows that this box / sub will perform better with a port. I was just wandering, does anyone use the MM2104 in a ported, small volume box (about .70 cu ft) and , if so, how does it sound? Should I just use a sealed enclosure?

that small, I'd definitely go sealed. Heck, I'd go sealed anyway. WinISD isn't always completely accurate...

Polk subs will put out more db in a ported box but they sound best in a sealed.

I recommend a .66 sealed.

same as mac, i say go with sealed - stick a small amount of polyfill in it, if you like, and have at. if you had a bigger box, say 1.0 - 1.5 cubic feet, i'd invite you to try it, but small ported boxes generally are bad news.

and this is what, the third wanderer we've had here? :D
