Please, it's still so cold up here, I'm thinking about getting the winter gear out and getting the bike out of the garage. Especially with gas prices where they are - 45mpg on the bike beats like 16 in my truck...
DYING to ride again...

Dude, ROCKS for a yard?
Where does one BBQ? I can't imagine playing ball in a GRAVEL pit.
That's not Arizona, that's MARS.
Cheers,

I forget about those gravel yards, I know why, but it still seems weird.

Rocks for 3 reasons:
You'll go broke in Southern Arizona watering grass
You'll go broke in Southern Arizona trying to get grass to grow
NO maintenance baby!
The new house will have grass in the back yard though, being a Missouri implant to Arizona, I miss my grass. I landscaped the current house myself--45 tons of rock; that won't happen again.

45 tons in ONE yard?
There's got to be a HUGE hole in the earth somewhere.

You'd be amazed how thin it is in some spots, the back yard is 9800 sqft. which is big for these parts...

I dunno, I think you should take Mother Nature's cue when NOTHING GROWS in a region, stay the fuck out.
I was down in AZ a few times when my cousin lives there... Mars is exactly what we called it.
Drive a couple hours north to Flagstaff or something, at least there's vegetation. :)

45 tons? yea easy. We put gravel around our old house's and it took like 10-12, and that was just the small flower beds and such, so a whole yard, 45 easy

45 tons doesn't go as far as you think.
Thanks Sid. Damn pity the the thing is 2 1/2 years old and only has 2800 miles on the dial---it's not even broke-in yet!

I think I'd at least opt for astroturf or some such....puking in a yard like that creates a whole host of problems.

I usually do wear a helmet, that was a quick spin around the block after adjusting the clutch lever. I don't know how people can stand the wind-blast w/o a helmet. I've tried it a few times and it's far more comfortable wearing a helmet.
Yep, 2002 Honda Magna VF-750C.

Agreed, and getting a June bug off the noggin at anything more than 20MPH HURTS! I've done helmetless a few times and just end up with a tear-streaked face from teh wind and a headache from the noise. Vive la brainbucket!

Great look you're sporting there Steve! Kind of like the guy who could burp real good in "Revenge of the Nerds". I don't know the actors name.

You should've been on Jeopardy Dragon, maybe you could've ended Jennings career a little earlier. I would've enjoyed that.

Do they let you do Google searches?
And I thought seriously of trying to end Ken Jennings career early but the problem is I don't own any weapons! :(
