Picked up some tubes at a yard sale today and would like some insight about them. I was told that the ones on box were never used and the two without the box test good but I could not verify if they were new (without the box ) or used.

O.k. here is the list of in the box:
QTY: 1- tungsram ecl86/6gw8
2- rca 6aq6
2- rca 6be6
2- raytheon 6ew6
2- national electronics 6gw8/ecl86
3- ge 6679/12at7
1- ge 6c4
1- ge 6681/12ax7
2- one phillips/ one sylvania 6ba6
2- ge mobile radio 6680/12au7a

Without box :
1- not sure of brand as silkscreen is rubbed 12ax7
1- sylvania jan12at7wc

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Regular old tubes....most likely from TV or Radios.

If you have a tube tester it might be worth it, but I'd just keep an eye on the Bay for those tubes and watch for history.

Keep the 12 volt ones, use the others for target practice with a BB gun.
