I was able to find a place to buy resin and filler..

Fiberglass resin w/ Hardener
Mat & cloth
Rage Gold Filler
Painters Tape
Acetone

Any other materials i will need? I plan on doing a fiberglass enclosure in the spare wheel well in my civic.

sandpaper of varying grits... you can get a package that has a couple sheets of a few ratings from very coarse to very fine, that will do quite well. you also need a paintbrush or three.

did you buy extra hardener or just the one that came with it? if not, buy extra, its like 2 bucks a tube. also, like neo said, PAINTBRUSHES. i LOVE the ones from Home Depot. I think they have the wooden handles but dont quote me. theyre extremely cheap but are VERY good. i tried other brushes and they sucked ass.
youll need an old pair of scissors (that still cut decent)
if youre sanding, youll DEF. need latex gloves...DO NOT DO IT WITHOUT IT. if not, then theyre not necessary unless you dont like to get your hands dirty...
i also used blue solo cups to mix the resin in. DO NOT GET THE CLEAR ONES...they suck really bad...the red ones are fine too i would assume.
youll also need some sort of scale to measure how much resin (in oz.)
what exactly are you fiberglassing? if youre putting mdf on top and just fiberglassing the inside then theres no need for filler or sanding if it wont be seen...or if youre covering it with carpet or vinyl it wont be really necessary...you might need a little with vinyl, but def. not with carpet

thanks..

I plan on fiberglassing the area of the wheel well..then when it hardens..im thinking 3 or 4 coats. ima put it out..ima use dowels to mount the sub rings, and build a wooden mount for the 2 amps, then..i have figure out what to do then..im guess carpet and fiberglass again..and then sand, paint..and ima put a plexiglass covering on that will be flush with the trunk floor.

i used 7 on mine. yes, since its colder youll need to mix it hotter. (mixing it hotter means adding more hardener). hardener is also referred to as a catalyst.

Audiobliss, I read your little quote. I use to go offroading myself, now my Infiniti QX4 stays on the pavement. Me and my father rebuilt a 1945 army jeep, and its tons of fun for offroading! Saw your pics of the jeep, looks nice and clean. I see that you are working on the audio system. If you need a sub box, I have one for sale sitting in my garage, brand new. 2 PolkMOMO 12s Sealed box. if you have AIM, my sn is civic95vtec.

whatever it says on the bottles... it depends on which resin and hardener you're using... mine, for example, is 1:4, but the same brand has 1:3 and 1:2 combinations, too...

Yeah, I don't think I'd do any offroading in an Infinit QX4, either; I mean, I have a Cherokee and I don't! lol That army Jeep certainly sounds like a lot of fun!

Your box has two Polk/MOMO 12s in it? I guess they'd be 2124s? Next time I see you on AIM and I have a minute, I'll IM ya about it. Probably won't work out, but I can try, lol.
