Still need help... (what is this, my 4th thread on the subject:rolleyes: :o ?)

I found that I could get JBL Northridge E60's for $150 a pop with free S/h or E80's for a little more. I wanted to stay with Polk, but I havn't found a deal like this. They seem like good speakers. I listened to them in store, but they had a crappy Sony receiver pumping out music only. Sounded great but... I just don't know.

Any suggestions: which JBl would you buy or is there something else better than these? I have a H/K Avr 235, Polk R15s as rears, watch far more movies, 13x15 room

What Polks you are comparing the JBL's with?
I don't own JBL so I can't comment on that but long years back when I listened to JBL i was not much impressed compared to Polk speakers. I have no idea if JBL has changed significantly lately.
