I have a Denon DVD 2900 universal player and am interested in some possible modifications. I was just wondering if anyone in here has had these modifications done to their DVD 2900 and if so, whether there was a noticable improvement in sound quality.

Thanks.

I'm also interested in knowing whether its worth the money to do the mods.

Has anybody done the mods and can shed some light on the topic.
What's the average cost of mod and what are the good & reliable place to get the mods done before getting ripped off of unncessary mods.
I'm very new to mods and have no idea what goes into it.

Malik,

It is really depends on what you want to achieve with the mods. I am attaching two links of modders that have proven to be reputable and well-known within the audio community. Cost varies depending on what goes into it. There are several threads on Audio Asylum that you can search on, to get a sense what is the improvement and impression.

I don't have DVD2900 so I can't tell you what to expect from your machine, if modded. From my perspectives, I've been very satisfied with what I've done with my players. I have two machines that were modded by Aplhifi.
