marantz dr 700

a former lurker from AudioKarma now signed on here-- i have a question. does anyone have any experience w/the marantz dr 700? a stand alone cdp/cdr? i picked one up recently, and it plays great, but i am having trouble deciphering the record procedure w/o an owner's manual. seems fairly straightforward, but i think i am missing out on a few button press sequences.

any advice?

oh, why do i wanna do this when you can do the same w/ a computer? just cuz...
