Hey all,

This thread originally started in the speakers forum but might be better suited here. If you want all the details you can look here (http://clubpolk.polkaudio.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=28288)

Quick recap. I want to hook up two r15's to an Onkyo SR-502. Needs to be cheap, so i don't want a seperate amp. My other viable option is getting an r30 or another r50 and laying this speaker on it's side ontop of the TV, but since I already have two spare r15's I wouldn't mind using them.

Thanks,

Chris

Chris, try selling the R15s and put the cash toward a center speaker. Maybe a CSi three or a CS1. both are pretty reasonable in price.

I looked on Circuit City's website, and the CS1 is on sale for $159.99. I think I would like it better than two bookshelf speakers, and it would not put a huge strain on your Onkyo 502 or your wallet.

The CSi3 is still $199.99 on Crutchfield's website. Just a suggestion. Good luck on your decision.:)
