I am thinking about building my own cables just for S#!T's and giggles and was wondering where is the best place to buy components. I am thinking about using Silver wire and plugs so I may check out the impact silver has.
Any suggestions where to get the best price?
Any suggestions which components are best?
Any personal experiences would be appreciated.

Thanks

Actually I should have said I want to build interconnects, not speaker cables.

My Bad.

Unless you're going to be disconnecting and reconnecting your speakers a lot, there's no reason to add any connectors. The more you add the more resistance your putting into the wire. Keep it simple, it will sound better.

Check out Homegrown Audio. They have DIY silver interconnect parts. Let us know what you think of them if you try it out.

Thanks, the wire here is a lot cheaper than I have found elsewhere.

I will let everyone know how they come out.

Cool. I've been wanting to try them out myself. Cool looking stuff.

So??? I'm dying to know how they turned out?

I have RTi8's, CSi5, SVS 12 inch box sub, Denon 3805, and FXi3's as rears... (Well, soon will :) ) I need something fairly cheap, but that sounds good, as possible. Checked out the Signals, they seemed ok, but fairly expensive i thought. Ebay possible for ok cables??

Thanks
