View Full Version : Friday the 13th......just bad karma

Well there must be some truth to the friday the 13th saying, my son trey was up to bat against the opposing team for the second time and had two strikes on him, the other teams pitcher tossed a mean fast curve ball at him and hit trey square in the nose.

His nose poured blood like pouring pee out of a bucket and the end result was broken nose, man that just hurts my feelings. His first time at bat tonight he hit an rbi ( made me darn proud too )and allowed us to score two points and think he could have done the same thing again if he had not got plastered by the ball.

Keep him in your thoughts as he is a hurtin pretty good.

Been in that boat before, just not in the nose.

My senior yearbook has a picture of me getting hit by a ball on my back. The picture has the ball ON my back. Whoever took that picture did a damn fine job!

Ouch! I feel his pain too! Took a 1 hop grounder in the nose in High School. Got a nice little Z bend in my sniffer as a result.:rolleyes:

Hope he heals up quickly and continues to play.

Just wanted to update, he is feeling halfway decent today and some of the swelling has started to go away, he still has the bandit look with the blackeyes and other patches of bruising but at least he felt like eating something a bit more solid this morning.

They have practice on monday and he says he is going, I have to say he is one tuff kid to want back at it like that, I thought he would want to hang out here but man was I wrong. Thanks for the thoughts guys I know he appreciates it.
