A sign for Raymond Cables just fell off my T.V. and sent broken glass all over the place.

The shampoo in both my showers is allways finding it's way to the floor.

What has fallen in your house or broke while you were rockin out?

Just curious if I am alone?

My system causes earthquakes.:D

But don't trip, I only cause massive ones every ten years or so.

I blew out a halogen light bulb once. Admittedly, the bulb was old, and one of the other three that were installed at the same time had gone already in peaceful times, but this one went on a heavy bass beat with my Mon 10s. I was so proud :D

I have my RM7500 sats on quarter round shelves mounted in the front corners. One of them is right above my computer. I guess it's not perfectly level. One time at about 80% volume, that thing jumped off, broke the speaker leads and smashed into my cordless keyboard. Keys were flying!:D

That blows. were you able to fix everything?

Yeah, I reassembled the keyboard but it still has battle scars. I got a new tweeter from work because it broke the magnet off.

Haha.... i love this thread.

I have an old infinity center speaker that i use for my bedroom system but 2/4 of the prongs on the grill are broken so it sits on there very loose. So every time i even get a little decent volume say around 90db the thing likes to jump off and do flips all the way down to the ground.

I have thought about ticky tackying it on (very technical term i do not know if everyone could comprhend that one:) ) But then i would not have the fun of watchin my grill go base jumping a few times a week.

Well I did it again.
There I was minding my own business just listening to AC/DC at reference level when my all of the sudden I hear (barely) a crashing sound.
One of my nice crystal lamps crashed to the ground and smashed into a million pieces.
Now I have to go clean up glass.
My soon to be new wife really liked the pair of those also.
Now there is just one.:(

Well off I go.

BTW is the reference level supposed to be that loud?
I can not stay in the room when it is there.
Just curious.

The end of my old comp desk vibrated off. And a clock fell in the living room.

was having a great day listening to some hard core techno when my neighbor showed up in my living room (scared the crap out of me since i couldnt hear him come in) but he nicely asked if i could turn it down cause his snow boarding boots fell off the shelf he kept them on and almost took him out.. the impressive part of that is his room and the sub were about 70 ft apart..
and lots of knick knacks and a plant
knick knack crap is now double sticky taped down to eliminate falling and rattling

kind of bringing back a semi-old thread here but I'm proud to say that today when I showed my dads friend the Atlas 15 I built I knocked over a few cases of pop cans in the kitchen (it's below my room) :)

Sweet, I would guess a Sub upstairs could cause real problems with pictures and all sorts of stuff downstairs.

Maybe it wasn't the best idea to add to the chaos and make it downfiring :D

So last night another picture came off the speaker and smashed onto the ground.
You would think I would learn.

Ive had CD cases fall randomly...

Things on my TV stand fall....

Ive had about 50 board games come crashing down in the room parallel to mine (a closet)...

Few pictures... things in the bathroom.

Nothing really broken yet, just alot of fallen objects!

I made a subwoofer with two Cerwin Vega 15" woofers and... woah... it was unbelievably loud. It didnt break anything, but it sure rattled everything in the house and cracked the paint between teh wall and the ceiling.

Man oh man oh man!!!! I got all my amps back from the shop (got them serviced and cleaned) and I am setting up my rack now.....I've got 3,000 watts of power (at 8 ohms) and it's set up in the basement with the kitchen just above.....methinks that I'll be buying new dishes among other things.....

It is my own fault, I temporarly place things on top of the speakers and forget when I fire up the system.

I never really listen loud enough to break or shake anything extensivly. I can, but I just choose not to unless I'm testing something.
