Thers's a HK Award A500 Tube receiver for sale with a BIN price of $325. Is this a good buy? Anyone know the specs? I'm going to make a decision today on what to buy, a new HK 3480 or used equipment. A little help please.

Since you're talking about vintage gear, you need to ask the seller if it's working properly. When was the last time it was used, condition, etc. Usually, the capacitors in vintage tube equipments that haven't been used in a long time dry up and need to be replaced. Buying vintage is great if you know how to replace parts, tweak and mod.

Good morning all,

The original description said receiver, but has been corrected.
It's an integrated tube amp. If I can figure out how to post a link I'll put it up so ya'll can review.

Thanks for the reply,

Noel

The one I was looking at is in Pennsylvania. The BIN is gone now.
That one in Texas must have slipped by me. I most likely would be on it's way to Indy right now if it hadn't. What a great BIN deal.
