Help-driver Question

Last night our pc broke and we had to reformat , and everything was lost. Our polkaudio speakers will not work now!

Where can I find a driver to make them work ?

If you plug in headphones do they work? I am thinking you need a soundcard driver, not speaker drivers.

You should be able to get the driver from the computer manufacturer (if dell, gateway, etc.), from the soundcard manufacturer (if soundblaster, etc.), or from the motherboard manufacturer (if built in - asus, fic, etc).

What kind of machine do you have and what kind of soundcard and I will try and help you find what you need.....
