Opinions on good Toslink

I need a good quality well built (minus the snake oil) Toslink cable. Any suggestions? (yes, it needs to be a Toslink).

I bought a DH labs D-75 digital coax to run from my transport to DAC and I like it so far. DH labs is supposed to make great cables for the money. it would be worth a try to check out their toslink (heck you might even want to give the D-75 digital coax a spin while you're at it.)

The Outlaw Audio was the best constructed I found and at a reasonable price point. It did make a change in the sound versus a lower end Monster Cable product, and for the better. I still don't understand why as was pointed out in these forums its all digital info., so the impact on SQ should have been zilch!

I've got a D-75 RCA/BNC running from the CDP, now I need a Toslink for the Polk XM tuner. Cool, I didn't know DH Labs sold an FO cable. Thanks brotha

Why have I read here, that one shouldn't use the optical cable?I've always heard the opposite

I believe the thinking is why go thru the light conversion process. With coax you take another circuit out of the way.

What I'm doing is running multiple sources into 1 DAC. My DAC has 3 digital inputs (well, 4 actually):

BNC (or SPDI/F w/ an adapter)
Toslink
AES/EBU (XLR)

My CDP is on the BNC input, the Polk tuner will go on the optical input (Toslink). I can switch between inputs on the DAC front panel. Very cool.

Cool, I thought you bought a Signal Cable digital coax. I have yet to compare any digital cables to my D-75, but I don't feel the need to right now. I should probably try out a toslink cable and see which sounds better... if you do buy the DH labs toslink let me know what you think between the two.

I had an AES/EBU from Signal cable, but it was too short for the new install, so I figured I'd go ahead and get coax this time. You get into CDP's with XLR, and you're into some bucks. Thinking about future upgrades, and how the next CDP will most likely not have AES/EBU.
