I'm looking for a working vintage (86-89) MW6511 mid-driver. The kind with the smaller dust cap and the wire leads exposed on the cone.

Just wondering, are there other 6511's?

Yes, there are the originals and then the newer ones with the larger dust cap. They both sound the same.

So I'm assuming the ones like in the CRS+ are the larger ones?

No, they have the smaller dust caps.
