After adding a power amp, to my system I was curious, but a little hesitant on purchasing a pre/pro. Wasn't sure if it would make much difference. Curiousity got the best of me, so I picked up the Anthem AVM 30, upgrading from the Onkyo 702 I was using as a pre/pro.
I was looking at Outlaw 990, and Sherwood P-965 as well, both of which I believe are fine units, but after taking some mesaurements they were both really to big to fit in the limited space I have.
Well anyway my curiousity has been satisfied, and the I'm glad I made the move. There is a noticable improvement in the sound quality, and the AVM 30 has more features than I even understand right now.
I now consider my HT complete, at least for a while, and it has been put together based on the things I have learned on this forum, so I just want to say thanks to all of you for your input.
Now its off to enjoy the system, and keep learning.
