Is this vinyl or a real wood veneer? I'm thinking vinyl but I can't find documentation that says for sure. I want to know so I know what I have to do to maintain the finish.

The owner's manual says the finish for the R15/R20/R30 is "Black Ash Vinyl" Only the R50 has "Black Wood Veneer"

That is for the black finish. These are not black, they are cherry finish. I imagine it is not any different but I would like to get a definitive answer from someone.

How do they fit into to your set-up? Were they the size you were requiring? I might let the matching R30's go also. They have boxes/spikes,everything just as new. Only hooked 'em up for about 2 days. Nary a flaw. Perfect.

Well, I have them for the small tube amp that I have and they worked out great on that! I wanted something small that would fit anywhere I wanted to put it. I haven't used it in an HT setup or anything. Just a small stereo with an 8W x 2 stereo tube amp I built.

The R30's would be nice but I don't think I have teh cash for them right now. If somebody else is interested, don't wait for me.

I asked about the finish because I wanted to know what kind of care they needed. Vinyl isn't as delicate as wood when it comes to cleaning and caring for the finish So I'm not so worried about them as I would be if it were real cherry wood veneer.
