ok this is bad but i bought this wire splicer/crimper... linkie (http://www.radioshack.com/product.asp?catalog%5Fname=CTLG&product%5Fid=64-2982)

i cant figure out how to use this tool, where do i place the wire and how do I splice them? is there a websight that shows how to use a multi function crimping tool like this?

i must be a moron!!!

ok i figured out the cutting and stripping part, not sure what the heck the crimping part is or what you're supposed to crimp.

are they talking about crimping a wire? why would that be needed?

The crimper section of the tool is for crimping solderless connectors to wire(s).

^That's right. It's made to "press" down on the connector and crimp/squeeze the connector into the wires.
