So Clarion makes good head units right? I mean they've been around forever and make pretty much everything. Would you recommend Clarion, and why?

I would recommend Clarion because they are a solid built unit with comparable features for their price piont.

Thats about it.

Theyre as good as anything out there I rekon. I kinda think theyre homely looking so I stick to Alpine myself.

Nah. Youre going to be looking at your head unit a lot over the next while. Might as well make it a good looking one.

There is a difference between a cool looking head unit and one with a effing movie screen on it.

i'd never by JVC... as far as indash goes.. i won't get anything below the AVIC N1 or N2. sometimes I do not like the alpine though... it's just too much I think

I feel clarion makes decent quality stuff, their pro audio amplifers are very nice IMO, $$$ is not good, but I have not had a chance to mess with the new subs
