Yesterday I started putting the Second Skin spectrum in my truck. I did a nice thick coat on my doors last night, then I spent a lot of today figuring out how everything came apart inside so I could take the carpet, headliner, and all the panels out. I wound up stripping two of the seat belt bolts due to them being rusted, so they are still stuck there. God damn torex bolts. Any suggestions on a way to get those out would be appreciated. I took a bunch of pics, so as soon as I find the cable to hook it up, I'll post them. I put 2 more thick coats on the doors, a very, very thick coat on the floors and back wall, and a thinner coat on the roof. My oringinal intent was to spray the spectrum on, but when I was putting the quick connect end to hook it up to the air hose, I cracked the spray gun. I'm gonna contact Ant and see if there is anything I can do about that. I wound up painting it on though. Went on easy, and dried rather quick. Not a bad odor to it, did smell a little bit when I went to work this morning, but not too bad overall.

alright, I found the cable. I don't know how to add more then one pic at a time, so there will be a few. This is the driver side door panel masked off, before I put the spectrum on.

Inside the truck with everything out of it, except the two seat belt bolts which wouldnt come out. It was easy enough to get around them though, the one in the middle, i looped around the steering wheel and taped it off, the other was a pain. I couldnt take the other panel off without getting that bolt out, so I took the whole panel and seat belt, and stretched it outside of the truck, and let it sit under neath. I taped off what was still inside though, so It didn't get ruined.

beautiful

As far as the seat belts go, first option is vice grips, second option is drill a hole through the middle a little ways, then get a screwdriver and hammer it into the hole and try to get it out that way. if that fails, you might just have to drill the whole thing out but be careful not to mess up the threads or youre really f***ed

That looks like a breeze to paint on compared to V3. Man V3 you cannot make even it's pathetic.

v3 also goes on thicker and has better dampening properties. theres trade offs for everything

Damn SP, now thats the way you do an install.

There is absolutely no way Id have the initiative, discipline or patience to do something like that.

Thats the way to go tho, good for you!

-Cody Yes, it goes on thicker, but it has the same damping properties as V2 when they're applied at equal thicknesses.
