Hallo again,
I need help????not a audioholic..........

I have new the Yamaha RXV 2500 and new RTI12's as main fronts, and with HT.
from this Forum, to run the RTI12's to there full power, to use OUTLAW 200M MONO BLOCKS...
BUT NOW COMES THE STUPID QUESTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How do I hook up the OUTLAW 200M x 2 to the Yamaha 2500, to play in STEREO and HOME THEATER.

sorry about this stupid question BUT there are so many connections on the back of the Yamaha 2500.
thanks very much.

There should be a set of pre-outs on the back of the reciever just below the RS-232C connection. Connect these to the input jack on the back on the outlaw. Not sure if you have to change any of the recievers settings

To be more specific if you need, the preout jacks will be right next to the sub preout jack. Use the ones for Right Front and Left Front. Connect one each to either monoblock, and then connect the speakers to the Outlaw amps obviously.
When you turn on your receiver, it will send a signal to your mains via the Outlaws, giving them more power. You will still control playback mode through the Yamaha.

Hello "brockmouse1" I have the htr 5790 and I have an audiosource amp driving my 2 infinity towers and my hookup is as follows, I rac 1 rca cable from each preamp out on the back of the 5790 to the input of the amp and if your amps have a gain/volume control turn up the gain to max and run the ypao on the 2500 and you will be all set.
