Bought a Carver m1.5t for $140. When I got home Left channel is dead. I know ADCOM has internal for both channels internally to protect this.....Wondering if Carver have this in their amp. I am afraid to open it first coz I could always return it. Please advise.

If you bought it as a fully functioning unit and have the option of returning it, then return it. I don't know for sure, but I doubt that there are internal fuses that protect each channel-- Probably some other method of protection instead-- but it should be self-resetting unless something is wrong internally. Double check your input/output connections and if you still only have one channel, send it back.

Hey, I just noticed that! Wow. I've been on here as long as all but a few members... and I've just now reached 1000!
Not too fond of "Polkhead" though. And I'll have that for, what, another 5 years???

You don't really have to be a Polkhead if you don't want. The whole thing is only make-believe if I remember correctly. It says I'm a Polkologist, but that's only make-believe too!
No internal fuses in the Carver.
