Just wondering if anyone has heard/bought the remasterd versions of these albums. I have the originals on cd & wouldnt mind forking over 5.99(yourmusic.com) for the new ones if they are better.

The AC/DC remasters on CD, and new 180g pressings are worth the money, easily. Back in Black was mastered pretty well to begin with, and I've noticed a more substantial difference on earlier releases, ie '74 Jailbreak - but Back In Black is STILL better, in the remastered form.
Thriller? Who cares.

There are a lot of sheep in the world, and they tend to reproduce fairly quickly. Glad my AC/DC advice was meaningful for you. Happy to be of service, as always.
Thanks for popping in.
Cheers,
Russ

BIB is absolutely one of THE greatest albums of all time.
I personally like Bob Scott era AC/DC better, but this album quite possibly was their best ever.
OTOH, I've heard rumors that Bon Scott had actually wrote BIB just before he died, but didn't the credit for it when it came out.

There's an SACD remaster of Thriller, though I haven't heard it yet.

I bought the Back in Black some time ago. It was a step up for me since the last time I bought it was on tape.
