I know this is car audio, but I thought someone might know that doesnt visit the car audio section much so here we go

My brother is trying to install this in his car and he has a question about where to put the power

it says "to vehicle 12V power terminal" and it has it split up into male and female ends, both of which have little connectors on the end...anyone know where these connect to?

the vehicle is a kia sorento if it matters. he is also using FM modulation

heres a link to show what im talking about

The terminals are just two different terminations, you only use one of them.

Littlefuse makes a piggyback terminal that works very well....PepBoys/Advance/Etc.

when you say piggyback, what would they connect from/to?

someone else suggested to cut off the wire and wire it to an acc. which is what i was thinking in the first place, can anyone confirm that?

Cody - That's what I mean, a piggyback terminal dresses that process up a bit. They call it "Add-a-Circuit"....sorry, I tend to just be simple.

Sure, you could use that + bare wire end, and just wedge it in an ACC fuse slot, but you may damage it in the process.

Spend <$5 and buy the right piece, don't go ghetto when you don't have to.
