If I have an amp that is stable down to 1ohm, is it possible to wire a DVC sub in parallel/parallel configuration. Thanks

kinda maybe, yeah. if you have one sub that's DVC, you can only parallel it once - you've only got two pairs of terminals to work with. if each coil is 4 ohms, paralleling the sub will make it 2 ohms (an amp would see 2 ohms there). if you were to get another identical sub, and parallel it in the same way, it'd be 2 ohms, too. then, if you paralleled those two units together, the impedance would halve again and your amp would see a 1 ohm load.
OR, if the DVC sub has 2-ohm coils to begin with, simply parallel those to get a 1-ohm load - you don't need the second sub.

Yup. It depends on the impedance of each voice coil. Dual 4 ohm coils can either be wire in 8 ohms or 2 ohms. Dual 2 ohms can either be wired in 4 or 1 ohms.
