Recently got our Cinema recliners & now we realize we should have pulled the trigger on this earlier. I never thought that chairs would make music & movies much more enjoyable. We had rockers & a couch but there’s nothing like a good cinema recliner. I feel having good seating is as important as having good sound & good picture. I guess you could call this an upgrade to the system. I purchased berkline 088 recliners three with power recline & one manual recline. Berkline prices are very reasonable starting from about $390 per chair. http://www.ezconnection.org/Sites/EZConnection/Design/Assets/images/berkline%20chairs.jpg

Mandatory equipment for me. It definitely makes the room's purpose very clear. Congrats!

Where did you get those? $390 per chair is a good price. What did you pay for each of your's, if you don't mind me asking?

A friend of mine has those. They are the most comfy thing I've ever sat in. Once you sit down it could be days before you want to get back up! Never experienced anything else quite like it.

Nice. I work at a furniture warehouse, and we carry a HT set close to that one here at our store. I love the look and comfort of it, but we have had quite a few returns on those recliners because of the mechanisms malfunctioning. Berkline is way better than what we carry at our store, so I would rather pay more for the quality. I can get the same set-up for $1100.00; just not as dependable as Berkline. To make a long story short, our crap is cheap. I would love to get my hands on a seating arrangement like yours. Congrats!

Yeah, those definitely look comfortable. Another (less costly) option for me is looking into those rocker/glider chairs. I told my wife I could live with one of those for my upcoming B'day - we'll see what happens. But for $300-400, you can get a decent rocker/glider chair and ottoman, and these things are WAY MORE comfortable than they look!

gmorris, I price for the chairs including shipping to Hawaii was right about $750 per chair w/power recline, the Manuel was a $140 less. The seats are the upgraded micro fiber Group 2 which adds some extra cost. Shipping to Hi was about $120 per chair. A good place to check on the Berk chairs is Leather Direct www.leather-direct.com I looked at ordering from them awhile back & they offer very good pricing, but they didn’t want to ship to Hawaii. I sold LZ BOYS cinema recliners but they were much more expensive. The LZB started at over $2000 per chair, that’s why I never purchased for our demo system. I met the Berk rep at CES & finally decided to pick up the Berk chair line, & purchased our demos. We have sold a few sets since & have been very happy with the quality. My seats are the 088 line which is slightly narrower, but to me they are perfect & being made for a/v the back of the chair isn’t to high leaving my head above the back. Another model, which is popular, is the 090 slightly wider & from this model you can have butt kickers factory installed too! LZB's are built slightly better but they cost almost $1200 more than the comp. Berks. goingganzo Yes the chairs are configurable to your needs & can add on at a later date. You just need to plan ahead. My three chairs are this way both outer chairs are full chairs with both armrests, the center chair has no armrests. The single manual chair also is a full chair. You can get the chairs with wedge armrests to form a curved shape & even get a love seat. The berkline site has a good planner www.berkline.com once ordered the chairs take about 30-60 days to be built & shipped. Chairs are built in Morristown Tn. If looking to purchase check leather direct if your on the mainland, If you live in Hi by any chance call me & let me know your a Club Polk member.
