Do you guys think this head unit is a good deal for $123.95? I thought Clarion was a good company but I'm not big into the car audio scene so I dunno.

Clairon is a very good company.

If this unit has the features youre wanting and looks good to you go for it.

The main features you would look for is how many outputs it has. If youre planning on adding amps in the future youd want to get one with 3 (front/rear/subwoofer) and you want their output voltage to be as high as possible (at least 2 volts).

It's actually for my friend Meg who is replacing a Sony head unit that died on her. She just needs the basic plays cd-r's and Mp3s feature. I just wanted to double check and make sure I didn't recomend some POS lol. Looks like I'm safe :)
