I'm not gonna say all water tastes the same, but it's pretty freakin close. Certainly I can't imagine any plain water being worth 3-4 times what other waters cost. I feel stupid enough buying bottled water sometimes as it is (though I still do,b ecause my town water is disgusting.)
But "the purest water in the world?" Talk about a marketing scam.
PS - What's "evian" spelled backwards?

I will have to try it. Personally, I can tell the difference between all of them. Aquafina being my favorite.

Those brita's are nasty little bastards......if I wanted to taste charcoal, I'd chomp on a briquette.

If you can tell the difference, and absolutely amazing water is your goal, it's worth the money. Same with speakers.
"Purest water in the world." It's the best I've ever had. I've tried countless bottled waters, water straight from the spring, pitchers, filters..all kinds of water. Penta is, as of right now, is the best I've ever had.my search hasn't ended.
My pinnacle was Aquafina. My girlfriend told me to close my eyes, she gave me two different waters, same temperature, same bottle *yes I can tell the difference in bottles* and let me taste between two. One was clear, clean, no aftertaste..refreshing. The other was dirty pool water. Expecting the winner to be Aquafina, I was stunned to find this new "Penta" clearly triumphant. Second place is Le Bleu. IMO
Now, I'm not sure about the deal with the molecular structures *clusters* but who cares, it's pure water. As for the "super-hydration" I can back that. After a night of tying one on with the same amount, same type of alcohol..it would take me four or five Le Bleu's to feel hydrated. With Penta, it took about 1/2 of a liter and I felt great. I'm sold.

All cables sound the same.
All amps sound the same.
All water tastes the same.
We need a double blind test for water. :D :p

I can taste differences in water, even spring water from different stores (brands). I guess I am more sensitive to it.

I'm a huuuuge fan of water. I rarely even touch anything other than water, unless it's the occasional beer.
Now I haven't tried Penta, but Fiji water...... omg. Talk about pure, no aftertaste, crystal clear water. Damn. I looooove it!

On the double blind test I could tell they were different but not which ones they were. Oh yea, and I would have to do it in my own home out of my own glass...

Double blind is flawed to begin with. What you need to do is drink the 'new' test water for two weeks THEN switch back to the old one, and see if you can discern a difference.
Cheers,

I've done about three weeks..and I can DEFINITELY tell a difference..in every type of water I drink..even Le Bleu..ALL the time. It's quite annoying to tell the truth. Now, nothing at all compares to Penta..@ 35 bucks a case..my wallet agrees.
Today I got one liter of Penta, it was immaculate. Crisp, clean, free of any metallic taste, no funky aftertaste, perfect. After that I tried Le Bleu again. Same thing..I can taste too many impurities. No comparison to "the precious"...

We complain about $3/gal gasoline, but are perfectly willing to pay more than that for water in a bottle.
I run a municipal water plant.
Some communities have nasty tap water. I know this to be true. I don't blame anyone for drinking bottled water because they think it tastes better. As far as safety, though, until very recently (maybe even this year?) the standards for contaminants in bottled water were not nearly as strict as the standards that have to be met by public water systems. Bottled water, as a bottled beverage, is regulated by the FDA, tap water by the EPA. FDA has only recently adopted most of the same standards for bottled water as EPA has for public water systems. I don't think bottled water companies are required to sample as frequently as public water systems, even today. IIRC, the only two contaminants where bottled water regulations are stricter are lead and copper. The reason being that those two are heavily influenced by customer plumbing and, as such, SHOULDN'T be a problem in bottled water.
For years the bottled water companies were essentially given a free ride, with very loose regulations and very little monitoring or enforcement. IMO, it's good that they're catching up.
The water system I work for charges in-town customers a minimum of $5.25 each month, for the first 2000 gallons, and then $1/1000gal after that. That's CHEAP. 12oz of it figures out to $0.00017. And we are required to meet THESE (http://www.epa.gov/safewater/mcl.html) standards. Of course, most of that water gets flushed down the toilet. The notion that bottled water is "optimized" for drinking is not entirely true, because it doesn't HAVE to be any better than tap water--- I bet I could let the chlorine evaporate out of my water, put it in a plastic bottle and pass it off as the $1/bottle stuff.
I wish I had thought of bottled water about 20 years ago. :)

I get the Ozarka bottled water at Wal-Mart. As far as water from the tap goes, I grew up in Chi-town, and there was a HUGE difference from the water in Illinois than Mississippi water. The water down south tasted like it had iron in it.(yuck) It is better now, but there is even a difference between Mississippi water and Tennessee water as well.
