Well, my job now has Starbucks Coffee in the cafeteria. Since all I have to do is head to the lower level to grab a cup, I can't stop drinking this stuff. So far, I tried a bunch of their coffees and the ethiopian sidamo is my favorite.....
" I am cornholio......are you threatening me???"
Hehe :D

As I type this I am enjoying a mild with a shot in the dark (shot of expresso).
We drink the stuff everyday. We bought their coffee maker and buy their coffee 1/2lb per week. I generaly drink 1 cup a day, but on the odd day I may buy one at work.
Within 5 mins walking there are 4 Starbucks 1 of them in the Atrium of the building I work at.
I find coffe is like wine they each have their taste. AMJ was our fav till discontinued. Now we drink Komodo dragon.

I love coffee, have 2 grinders... one of the nice Kitchenaids that has the glass hopper for the beans storage... I need more now, but usually i fresh grind my coffee daily. when im out i like dunkin donuts regular with french vanilla however it sometimes is to sweet depending on who's working. at home just sugar and whole milk, not cream, not french vanilla.. ect. Id like to try coffee black but im so damm used to the sweetness of milk and sugar it tastes bland, even with good beans..

big portion yes, but coffee beans can be grown in Indonesia, Africa, south america. I may have missed places, but there are many regions which can grow the beans, again just like wine. You may have Xbean grown in columbia and the same bean grown in Africa it will yield a much different taste, due to climate and soil conditions.

My basic body protoplasm is equal parts caffeine, tobacco, salt, pepper, red meat, and rum.
Caffeine (by way of coffee) is very important to me. It pisses me off to no end that a lot of times when I go shopping, there is an abundance of freakin' RASPBERRY coffee, HAZELNUT coffee, CHOCOLATE coffee, BUBBLEGUM coffee, FRENCH VANILLA coffee, and TUTTI STINKING FRUTTI coffee, but no straight Columbian. This kills me, because I only like COFFEE FLAVORED COFFEE! Coffee is good stuff, and very important nutritionally. Luckies also don't taste the same without it. I don't go with the powdered shit either. Whole beans only in my house, ground a couple minutes before the pot is brewed.

It takes about 30 minutes to "feel" the Caffeine effects in your body...
However after 16+ years drinking coffee [everyday] it doesn't really affect me much now...
I went a year caffeine free and was feeling great. Now I'm slowly getting back into the addiction. I seriously need to quit again. Don't drink coffee, only caffeine sodas, very mild compared to coffee. I guess my body doesn't like stimulant drugs, I just went apeshit when I accidentally took some ephedrine containing vitamin supplements. Now I take a close look at what those "vitamin" supplements contain as this really was labeled as multi-vitamin, not speed.
BTW guys, if you experience frequent urge to urinate and/or have prostate problems, you need lay off from caffeinated drinks.

Be very careful if you drink coffee and take any kind of epehdra. Also look out for an herb called guarana. The label will tell you how much caffeine the guarana is standardized to. Even if the product is labeled ephedra free, look for guarana. Also if anyone takes sudafed (pseudoephedrine) be careful as this is another form of ephedra.
When I worked in a vitamin store, people would buy stacker, trim-spa, xenadrine and all those kinds of supplements, all of them had epedra and guarana at the time. These things were powerful and when mixed with the additional caffeine from beverages, they could really mess you up: irregular heart beat, tremors, sweating, panic, etc.
Also if anyone takes sudafed (pseudoephedrine) be careful as this is another form of ephedra.
It has same kind of side-effects as ephedra, that's why "pseudo". The reason why some allergy medications are non-drowsy. Claritin-D (loradatine & pseudoephedrine) is something that I can take but not anywhere close to bedtime as it would keep me awake.

Regular coffee at Starbucks is just the same or cheaper than any other coffee chain (IE Dunkin Donuts). It's just that people always get blahblahchino with blahblah flavor at Starbucks, which obviously costs more. Plain ole coffee isn't much more than two bucks.

If Dennis Leary only likes coffee flavored coffee too, then he's okay with me. All the other things he mentioned, ARE coffee flavored stuff, but all dicked up with other shit.
I started with cream and sugar. Then less cream and honey. Then evaporated milk and sugar. Then I had a revelation. Sweetened condensed milk. A small spoonful. THIS is a great way to drink coffee flavored coffee. It really arranges for the coffee to be very friendly to your mouth. SMOOOTH. Been doing it for about ten years now.

People will bitch to no end, justifiably so, about the price of gas as they are swilling down a cup of coffee from Starbucks that they paid 4 bucks (or whatever they charge) with no complaint. Makes no sense to me.

Agree 100%. Compared to DD, Starbucks is a "thicker and smoother" coffee with more kick. I do like DD coffee and I drink it once in a while. I really like the cups DD uses. Starbucks and 7-eleven use reg paper cups that have a fold on the lip(top) of the cup. Sometimes coffee will leak through this fold. To prevent this, I take a napkin and place it between the cup and that cardboard ring they put around the cup so your hands don't burn...I also make sure the hole in the lid is opposite the fold so it doesn't leak when I drink it.

Whoa! Wasn't saying they taste the same - they taste NOTHING alike; Dunks is like water compared to Buckys. I'm saying the COST is about the same - reread my post. Someone was saying they'd n ever pay four dollars for a cup of coffee, but regular coffee at Starbucks COSTS about the same as at Dunks.

I have three family members who work for Starbucks and they hate the false claim about Starbucks being expensive, I have this drilled into me all the time. :)
Sorry missed that part

And when I order, I refuse to say venti, grande, etc....to me it's small, medium, large, etc....
Same here, saying words like venti, grande and such make me feel gay'ish.

I don't use those words when referring to my manhood either, don't need to, the bulge speaks for itself.

I've been drinking 2-3 large mugs of coffee a day for more than 10 years. Usually only 1st thing in the morning. I ran out of coffee at the house a few weeks ago and forgot to get some on the way home. I thought that I could get by with some really strong ice tea. WRONG! What a way to ruin your day.
I'm such an addict that I ended up with 2 straight days of debilitating migranes before I finally went to Sams and restocked with some whole bean French Roast Millstone. I don't splurge for the really expensive stuff. I drink with cream only. No sweetner either. I fully agree with George on the Coffee flavored Coffee. I can't stand going to my In-laws because they only buy some crappy flavored stuff that nearly makes me puke!
Has anyone here read the article on Caffeine that was in National Geographic about 6 months ago? Great article. "It's the world's most popular psychoactive drug!"

Update my wife tried the turkey  she said it was crap. I had the chicken club, it was ok but not worth the price. Kinda like the bose of sandwiches.

Girl at bar " is that a Grande in your pants" - "No it's a Venti extra hot no foam?!"

No coffee for me, just a Ice Cold Lenny's lemonade.
