The damn spreads just kicked my shiny honkie a$$ this week. So far I've got 5 and need to wait until MNF to see how badly I really did.

Im hanging in there with 20 total although I stunk it up this week with 6 so far.

I got suprised on a couple games today. I really didnt think Green Bay would go 0-3.

Man the spread is just killing me...

Im going for the team I think is going to win in reality...not that the lesser team will win by a spread that the better team cant pull off...

Kind of angering - I am going to have to adjust my thinking. I have been ripped of 3 wins this week. I would rather have the 3 more wins and lost the one I won by the spread.

It will be about useless to think the Colts will win on a spread - with a 13 point favor - how on earth could they ever win without just smashing the other team...

I'm not complaining... I'm just a little aggrivated at how this is setup... (I'm way to competitive) ;)

Yeah, that spread is annoying. Take the Tennessee game. They really sucked like I knew they would but yet I lost cause although I picked them to lose, they didnt lose by the spread. Ugh.

SD just handed NY a big loss on Sunday night football. Despite Manning's snuff of the Chargers in last year's draft, he's going to be a very good QB.

Tomlinson was just unbelievable tonight.

Rams won a sloppy, but fun game. Hoping the Chiefs can do the same on MNF.

Good job. There is still lost of football and your 2 worst weeks are dropped so dont give up. I changed internet carriers but my old one decided to shut it off a little early so i woke up Sunday morning to make my pics and no internet. Bastards. So i got a Fat -0-.

Make those pics or this could happen to you.

Man, my picks were looking really good after the first quarter of every game... To bad most of them went downhill after that...

I can't believe how well Cleveland played against Indianapolis. The refs were absolutely horrible. At the beginning of the game Dennis Northcut ran a punt back 82 yards, but they brought it back due to a "block from behind" which was a horrible call. They also had another horrible call that resulted in a loss of a TD. It ended up being 6-13, but should have been 20-13. I think the Colts only had 3 penalties called on them...

Penalties have really been ridiculous this year all around. Especially some holding calls... unless it seriously affects the outcome of the play and is blatantly obvious, holding penalties really need to be abolished. EVERY play has some holding. Honestly.

I didn't do the tie breaker. Aaaarrrggghhh! I really blew this week. I got to get my nu*s out the sand next week. This was an ugly week for me. The point spread killed us.

Tonight I'll watch KC kick Frank's teams buttocks. ;)

Another good week for the Jets!

Sure was. Lost the game and 1st and 2nd string QB's. Sounds like Pennington has a torn rotator cuff which would put him out for the year, but he's getting a second opinion. Herm Edwards says they are preparing Brooks Bollinger to start this week.

BTW, did you hear about the Steelers-Patriots game having 52 extra seconds in the 4th quarter? Not that the Steelers can really use it as an excuse. Their defense blew it.

Hahaha, I just read about that clock error. It happened at the BEGINNING of the 4th quarter, so no one can be accused of trying to help one team or the other, nor can you say which team really benefitted - anything could have happened at that point in the game. It as just a stupid mistake.

So is Rob Smith. I can't believe KC didn't get a flag for going helmet to helmet especially when the receiver was already wrapped up and basically defenseless. I wouldn't be surprised to see a hefty fine from the league.

Yeah, but how about the Denver player trying to rip a KC player's head off with his face mask on the sideline, where the ref threw a flag, but then said, "There is no flag for scuffling." Freakin' idiots!

I can't believe the Jets are down to thier 3rd string quaterback. Pennington looked so promising when he first started. But if he can't last a season, it's time to dump him. Jets looked so good last year (I thought they had a chance to make it to the big one), but now they just look like crap.

Week 3 and I have not one to root for. Any suggestions out there?

They actually just took Vinny out of retirement. Ridiculous!

Pablo
09-27-2005, 05:32 PM
I just heard about Vinny. I can't believe they go and pick up someone up that they got rid of, and then wasn't even good enough for Parcells to keep (vinny was his man). I guess if they let him sit on his wheel chair while the defence is out he may be able to get a throw off.

I think I would have gone with "Q-Man" Quincy Carter before Vinny. They may have had to include free weed with every QB tryout for him to show up though. I wanna see what Bollinger does this weekend though.

Pablo

Carter, I couldn't remember his name. From what I remember, he did pretty well during Chad's first injury. Hopefully Bollinger will turn out to be something.
