I've had Enigma's DVD for a while now (actually have 2 copies ;)) and just thought I'd mention it on the board as a recommendation. It's very well made, the quality it quite good and the audio mix (2 channel) is well done.

The videos are filled with beautiful imagry, footage, places, and people :) So if you are a fan of Enigma, I highly recommend it.

Hi Steve-

Big fan of the first disc, less than completely stoked on the second.
Would you say this one is closer
to the 1st or 2nd?

Well, it has videos from all the albums (all 4 of them).

The second was my least favorite as well, but 3 and 4 were phenomenal IMO.

i bought the Enigma DVD too. the back of the box says it is Dolby Digital.. so i was looking forward to that.. well it's only 2 channel stereo mix. what are they lying to us.. because it's not in DD. how can anyone release a DVD today and not have it be in DD?
with such good music and well done music videos.. i only give the DVD 2 stars.. would have been three if it was in DD.

ALL dvds must be DD, but that doesn't mean they are in 5.1. Still, DD is 18bit/48kHz, which is slightly better than CD quality.

I am sure that Micheal Cretu (Enigma) didn't plan on a 5.1 mix of his songs. He is VERY anal about how they sound and everything.
